Question: I am having trouble with delivering and stacking certain materials because of static. Is there anything I can do to my existing sheeter to overcome this problem? |
||
Answer: Static has always been a problem when material slides over itself, either when stacking or overlapping sheets. Some operators hang copper tinsel to ground the static charges, however, this can become a problem if tinsel particles get in the load. Ionizing bars have also been used to help alleviate static issues but have been difficult to locate because of size.
